P.A.C.E Program

Pa’lante Activo Creciendo Entrepreneurs  is a non-profit organization that is based in Lawrence, Massachusetts. P.A.C.E focuses on teenagers with the desire to become entrepreneurs. The program is designed to teach students from grades nine to twelve entrepreneurship and leadership skills. The P.A.C.E program is designed for a 9 week period, which includes classroom instruction, Concept development, mentoring support for business plan development, and culminates in a 7 or 8 week business plan competition. Students will develop self-confidence, high self-esteem and grow into responsible and capable adults. The curriculum includes mentor based programs, inspirational talks, interactive classroom instruction and concept development workshops, conducted by recognized industry leaders and supported by stalwarts to foster innovation, leadership skills, creativity and self-confidence.

 

We aim for approximately 30 students to be involved in the business plan competition. We expect exciting innovative ideas that will be transformed into business plans and pitched to a judging panel, comprised of investors and business leaders. We aim to the have the winning teams achieve a prize of 5k, 3k and 2k for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place. This is to be announced  and presented in a grand event.

 

Through this program, Students will learn:

 

• How to evaluate and measure an idea as an opportunity

• How to take an idea and develop a business plan

• Learn the business strategy and elements of building a business

• Gain the confidence and skills to pitch
